That’s the Story
Nobel laureate Prof. Roy J. Glauber is the last living scientist from the Theory Division of the Manhattan Project. His clear, fluent and articulate narration brings first hand information on the life at Los Alamos, the main scientific characters there, the Trinity test of the first ever nuclear weapon, the bombing of Japan and the political aftermath of the project. Glauber’s account is documented with audiovisual material recently declassified from the Los Alamos Archive.

Animalades
Animalades is a bestial journey from myth to science in which Catalonia’s wildlife stories are revealed; from legends and lunatic conceptions to recent scientific discoveries. Moreover, some animals’ abilities are compared with that of humans: a dolphin vs an Olympic swimmer, a frog vs a gymnast, a gecko vs a climber… Will we ever emulate their achievements? “Animalades” is a word pun: its root means “animal” and, in the Catalan language, “animalades” is used when something is unbelievable, crazy or exaggerated.

The Blind Monkey
China’s Taihang Mountains are a tough place to be a baby monkey. Steep cliffs, scorching summers and very, very cold winters all take their toll. It’s a particularly tough place to be a blind baby monkey. Most blind babies die in a matter of weeks, however the extreme devotion of one macaque mother has an extraordinary result. The Blind Monkey provides an insight into macaque society and suggests that compassion may not be a uniquely human behavior.
